| Ivan Wentland was born near Seattle in Auburn, Washington in 1969. His childhood was filled with many moves that seemed like a great adventure to him as he grew up gazing at the beauty of the world passing the family car windows from Washington to California, Pennsylvania, Maine, Florida and the many states in between. The impressions were lasting. It was during his childhood travels that his love of beautiful images was born and nurtured. In college this love took form and matured. Ivan attended Andrews University in Michigan where he majored in photography and graduated in 1993 with a bachelor’s of science degree in technology. Through experimenting and curiosity, Ivan has developed a chemical manipulation not used by other photographers. First conceived during experimenting while working in commercial advertising. Ivan continues to explore and share through his photography. |
